Our Founder
Dr. Gwendolyn C. Lewis, PhD
Dr. Gwendolyn C. Lewis, aka Dr. Gwen, is the owner of Writeous Publishing Company, where the motto is “There is a story in every pen.”
She is a writer and published author of several books: Up From the Grave, i am leah, Points to Ponder, Venting to Heal (co-authored with Skyye Howze), and Sit Down, Strong Sister. She has also published multiple books.
As an educator for over twenty years, Dr. Gwen believes that any task–especially writing–should be simple, easy, and obtainable. Dr. Gwen’s expertise is in the areas of teaching, educational leadership, early childhood, and motivational speaking. Writeous Publishing Company was birthed in her loins to make writing and reading more desirous.
Writeous Publishing Company is not just designed to guide authors through the process of book publishing, but to promote authors' work, answer questions, and give solutions to concerns, conduct LIVE sessions, and even assist writers in building a public platform for themselves.
Writeous also produces segments such as Point to Ponder Podcasting, where Dr. Gwen encourages others to live their best lives. In addition, Dr. Gwen hosts Write the Vision Table Talk where she takes the opportunity to sit down and have a "meaningful conversation" with people who have touched her life and who have motivating stories to tell.
